Greeting from JAPAN !

We are pleased to inform you that we will organize the 9th meeting of the Asia Pacific Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (APSOPRS) in Osaka on 26th and 27th of August in 2016. This is the joint meeting with the 4th meeting of the Japanese Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (JSOPRS). The theme of the meeting is “Harmony with the world”.

This joint meeting promises to bring you the very best and the latest in the ophthalmic plastic surgery and its related surgery with the eminent speakers from all over the world. We promise you an interesting programme with novel, educative and practical contents. Your interaction with colleagues from different countries will stimulate a creative exchange of ideas and will contribute to a successful and enjoyable meeting.

We will provides a travel grants for 20 doctors, who submit a poster abstract to the meeting. Please apply for this grant if you are interested in this grant.

We hope and trust that you will enjoy your visit to Osaka, the very enjoyable city of Japan.

The meet ing will take place in August 26-27, 2016 at International House Osaka, Japan.

Only abstracts for poster presentation will be accepted.
Abstracts must be submitted and presented in English.

2. Submission guidline

First author should be the presenter.
Only maximum of three authors can be named in the abstract.
3) Institution
Institution for the presenter should be registrated.
4) Title of the Poster
Less than 144 characters of title is accepted.
5) Abstract
The abstract of 250 words is accepted.

Travel Grant Application

Application for travel grant has been closed. Thank you for your application.

The organising committee of the joint meeting of the APSOPRS and JSOPRS provides travel grants to support young ocluoplastic surgeons to participate in the above meeting. The purpose of this grant is to foster highly talented oculoplastic surgeons in the Asia-Pacific region with a rich global view and experience for the future of academia.

The amount of this travel grant is 50,000 yen (about 500 US dollars) to each winner. This award is given up to 20 doctors.

The application requirements are as follows,

  1. APSOPRS member, already registered
  2. Age, less than 36
  3. 1st author of a poster abstract
  4. Please submit an application form with an abstract of the poster abstract

We look forward to having many applications from the promising youth !
